Day 24 – Something That Makes You Cry

August 15, 2012

As much as I try to be all tough and heartless, I really cannot deny the fact that I am, indeed, a softy.
I’ve made hundreds of attempts to be otherwise.
Failed.

The following are some of the many things that make me cry.

—————————————————————————–

Movies.

I cried when I watched Lion King, Finding Nemo, Brother Bear, Toy Story 3, Despicable Me, How To Train Your Dragon, Bride Wars, Dear John, My Sister’s Keeper, The Notebook… and I could go on and on.

Some are obvious tear – jerkers but, the other movies hit me in such a subtle way. A Walk To Remember, My Sister’s Keeper. I mean, who didn’t cry in those movies?? But for those of you who have seen Bride Wars,  I doubt you’d remember that 5 second look shared by Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway before entering their respective rooms. There was also that line in How To Train Your Dragon that made me tear up. It was when the viking daddy held his son and said “I’m sorry.” BAM. TEARS.

—————————————————————————–

Losing People.

Be it a death or a migration, I hate it when people have to go.
Or when people leave.

Even in movies.

I cried when Mufasa died in Lion King.
When the old lady died in Up.
When Mandy Moore broke up with Shane cause she was sick.
When the groom didn’t show up in Carrie Bradshaw’s wedding.
When Channing Tatum left Amanda Seyfried in Dear John.

I cannot imagine experiencing any of those things in real life.
I wouldn’t want to.

EVER. 😦

—————————————————————————–

Frustrating Situations.

When it feels like I’m exerting all my efforts and getting absolutely no results.
When I see/ hear of/ know of something so wrong or violating or twisted, and I can’t do anything to fix it.
When I’m just so annoyed with a person. So much, it brings me to tears.
Usually, it’s when people are so self – righteous and hypocritical.
When I don’t know know what I want.

PMS

Once a month, women turn into monsters.

And then, everything makes them cry.

Aww, Kara! ;D Before I watched My Sister’s Keeper, I read the book. And here I was thinking that reading it could prepare me for the movie, it did not. Cried my eyes out with my Achie. :’) And I see your PMS days are still… HAHA, nothing much has changed. Glad you’re doing well, Kara! I’ve missed you. >;*<
